My career in finance began in 2008, and since then, I have built over 16 years of progressive experience across Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Audit, Treasury, Compliance, ERP, Process Improvement, and Business Operations.

I started my professional journey with Hapag-Lloyd, one of the world’s leading shipping companies. Although my initial role was in customer service, my long-term goal was always to build a career in finance. That determination led me to transition into finance and accounting, where I gained hands-on experience in financial accounting, banking operations, statutory audits, and compliance.

Over the years, I expanded my expertise across diverse industries, including manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare advertising, and real estate consulting. Each role provided opportunities to strengthen financial governance, improve operational efficiency, and build scalable finance processes. Beyond managing core finance functions, I have led cross-functional initiatives involving ERP implementation, internal controls, process standardization, GST compliance, treasury management, and financial reporting.

As Finance & Accounts Manager in the manufacturing sector, I led a team of six professionals while also supporting HR process development by implementing statutory compliance frameworks related to PF, Bonus, and Gratuity. Later, while working in the healthcare advertising industry, I played a key role in implementing ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) processes by developing and standardizing SOPs across multiple departments.

Throughout my career, I have worked closely with Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, legal professionals, auditors, consultants, and business leadership teams. These collaborations have strengthened my ability to understand business requirements beyond finance and develop practical, governance-focused solutions that improve operational efficiency and support long-term growth.

Today, I continue to focus on building disciplined finance functions, strengthening internal controls, and helping organizations make informed financial decisions through structured processes, compliance, and strategic financial leadership.
